Trail Grooming Report – January 29, 2014

The last two snow events have really brought us back to the top as far as trail conditions are concerned. There are still a few places where you can feel the ice beneath you, but overall things are great in the Jo Mary/ Katahdin Region. I even rode through Baxter State park yesterday (south to north) and the riding was the best that I have seen in many, many years. Just watch out for the skiers as they don’t like to move out of your way.

On January 28 we groomed the following trails:

  • 109 Connector trail
  • Black Pond trail
  • P. P. X-over
  • 111 Connector trail
  • Wildwoods trail
  • X-over from the 111 to the 109

On January 29 we groomed:

  • B Pond trail
  • Gauntlet Falls trail
  • Ragged Mtn./Fire Tower trail
  • 109 Connector
  • Parkway Trail
  • South Twin to Millinocket trail (west half)

All trails are in good to excellent condition
