Confused by reports of bare trails and low snow coverage? Don’t have any good riding where you usually go?

Check out these photos from the JoMary Riders trail system taken on February 5 when “everyone” was telling you there were no good trail conditions. Was your weekend riding as good as these riders?

The first photo is on the 109 connector trail where it intersects with the PP Crossover trail. Does this look like the 4″-6″ inch snow depth that NOAA’s snow depth map depicts? No way! They need better sample points!

The second image was taken where the Jo Mary groomer meets the Ragged Lake club’s groomer on the Black Pond trail (just west of Wadleigh Stream) in the Nahmakanta Unit. Looks like winter is here in full force!
