Last Night we groomed:
- 111 connector
- Wildwoods trail
- Lower 109 (Katahdin Loop to Pemadumcook Parkway Trail)
- West Ragged Crossover (connects 111 to 109)
- The Parkway trail
- West end of suspension bridge trail
Once again we would like to stress the importance of stopping when you meet a groomer on the trails. Last night I encountered a group of four sleds with the second sled being towed by the lead sled. They got by the blade on the front of the groomer with just two inches to spare. They never even tried to slow down or move over.
I guarantee that in any “confrontation” between a sled and a grooming machine, the sled will not win. PULL OVER AND STOP.
