Hi all, Just a little update on our trail system.
- We groomed the B Pond trail, the 111 and the Parkway trail on Friday night.
- The 109 connector (Katahdin Loop) and the Black Pond trail were groomed Saturday night.
- The 111 west of the Jo Mary road is done for the season as they are supposed to be plowing it today for a logging operation.
I rode our entire system yesterday (Sunday) and had a good to excellent ride. With the warm temperatures predicted for this week we will put all grooming on hold. There is still a TON of snow on the 109, Black Pond and B pond trails. Everything is flat and hard. You may have to dodge a few dirt spots here and there at the south end of our system but once you get into the higher elevations the riding is great. The same can be said for ITS 86 and the Ragged Lake trail system. Maybe another storm is lurking around the corner for next week. One can only hope!
