We continue to struggle with trees down all over our trail system due to heavy wet snow last week. We are currently working and making progress opening up and then starting to groom our trails.
- 109 from South Twin to ITS 86 was opened yesterday and was groomed as far as Pratt Brook.
- Black Pond Trail from ITS 86 to Ragged Lake trail is now open (our section still ungroomed).
- B Pond Trail groomed 12/28
- 111 and Wildwoods trail groomed 12/27
- Gauntlet Falls trail is open, groomed 12/28
- Millinocket Trail opened 12/27; will be groomed 12/29
- Parkway Trail still impassable due to trees in trail
- PP X-over trail still impassable.
We have a crew out working again today with chainsaws trying to open up the last two trails.
As a side note, there’s over 2 feet of snow on the ground at the groomer garage and close to 4 feet on parts of the 109!!
