The Maine legislature passed the bill for the snowmobile registration fee increases. The registration fee for Maine residents went up by a whopping $2 to $35 and the non resident registration fee went up by $20 to $88 for the full season. It helps, but not much. At best it will generate about $385,000 or about enough to cover the additional fuel expense for 2007/2008 season.
